Amy at freemotionquiltingadventures.blogspot.com has started a quilt along for anyone wishing to develop their version of Karen McTavish's filler stitch McTavishing. Every Monday in March we will post our progress or project. I'm a little behind since it's Wednesday but here's my initial drawing. I did this tight like a zentangle. I imagine when I stitch something out, I will do it much looser.
Your sketches are great. Love how you developed the waves and curls.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to make the design your own by adding the pearls! Love it! Thanks for linking up.
ReplyDeleteLove your drawings! I feel as though everyone's is a little different. Can't wait to see your quilt sample!
ReplyDeleteI think your sketches are great, they're nice and curvy and really flow.
ReplyDeleteGreat start! I am looking forward to improving in the QAL
ReplyDeleteI like your unique drawings as well. I think I'll try drawing as well. When I quilt on my samples I always get into places I have trouble getting out of.
